Gloves

I would be so very appreciative is someone would figure out a way to keep the inner lining of kid's gloves in the fingers of said gloves. I spend several minutes of my life everyday trying to fit little fingers into gloves whose lining is not where it should be. And several more minutes trying to explain to the owner's of those little fingers that it is not, in fact, the way I'm pulling their gloves on but the gloves themselves causing the trouble.

Oh, and while you're at it, could you install some kind of locaters in kid's gloves, too. I'm already tired of accompanying kindergartners to the "lost and not found."

You should make a Mittens Only in Kindergarten rule. Then there's only the little thumb hole to worry about. And then you could put everyone's mittens on a string so that they stay together.

i crocheted a string to run through the arms of the boys' coats and sewed their mittens on when they were little. it worked great and was the only use i ever found for the single, long, crocheted string that was the only thing i know how to crochet. i'd even make a bunch for you if you wanted to try it. other than that, what if you strung a clothesline on the wall or in your room under the vent, and use clothespins to hang up their mittens when they come in.

i love alyson's "mittens only" rule!

Alyson, mittens only sounds good to me. One non-hole is better than five.

Kathy, I like the clothesline idea. Thanks.

Or, girls, you could come help me put on/find gloves 4 times a day. See you at 10:00, 12:20, 2:00, and 3:00.
