Wow...where do I start?
*skinned? as in they were lacking their SKIN? that is too graphic for children
*Pink Bible w/bling? Put that on my Christmas list. Seriously.
*baby dolls should never cost $50. are you sure we all want a girl? :)
ps...thanks for the heads up this morning. Aidan took his first tooth that fell out last night and his was the "most important" per Aid.

Aidan lost a tooth? How exciting! What does the Tooth Fairy pay these days?

Love the "ear-rins"--priceless!

Ada, yes they were skinned. You could kind of see the muscles and bones. I will put the princess Bible on the list. You would like it. I'm not really sure that the doll cost $50. She told us that after a long speech about this doll and her others at home. And I'm sure Aidan's tooth was the most important show and tell. Especially if he's the first in his class to lose one.

Katrina, the tooth fairy pays $2 at our house. That might be kind of a lot but it's worth it just to see the looks on the boys faces when they come out all sleepy and cute the next morning with money in hand and a smile on their face. By the way, they pretty much know it's me. Now they want to know what I do with the teeth.

katrina, at our house they get a Sacajewa in the cup and then I replace it with a paper dollar to spend so they can keep the coin. Ada, they weren't skinned. They are the flying dinosaur things that attack the ape in King Kong. (By the way, he sought that out, didn't just run across it while digging for just anything for show and tell.) They are kind of gross though. Who knew your sister makes things up? I guess it is to be expected from one who allows shark copulation to be taught in her classroom.

Although kindergarten was many years ago for me (do you know how devastated I was my first day when I was informed the name was "kindergarten" and not "Kendra-garden"? I thought it was going to be a magical setting among vegetables that was all about me!) I still vividly remember my first show and tell. I brought a goldfish in a Band-Aid container full of water, sneaking it out in my pocket 'cause I was afraid my mom wouldn't let me take it. Oh, I was so excited!
....Cried inconsolably when I went to present my brilliant idea, only to find that the water had all drained out and the poor fish was deceased.
I love reading your posts about the young, sweet and innocent. "Out of the mouths of babes..." and all that. Never fails to bring a smile to my face!

Kathy, just so you know, it was your son who told us that his pteradactyls were "skinned." I took his word for it and didn't look too closely as I was kind of queasy at the moment. And as far as the sharks, I still adamantly blame Debbie. Who knew I needed to screen her curriculum? :)

Kendra, that's so cute about kendra-garden. And I can so see the gold fish thing happening. Luckily all the pets that have come to my class have survived. So far.
